Summary
The Public Accountability Committee of the Legislative Council (the PAC), in its inquiry into “the budget process for independent oversight bodies and the Parliament of New South Wales”, held public hearings on 12 December 2019 and 13 December 2019. This document sets out the Ombudsman’s responses to questions taken on notice during the hearing.
We have also taken the opportunity to respond to a number of other matters raised during the hearings. This document supplements the Submission made by the NSW Ombudsman on 18 November 2019.
