Summary
This is a final report on the review of a group of young people with disabilities leaving statutory care under Section 13 of the Community Services (Complaints Reviews and Monitoring) Act 1993. The report is about the leaving care arrangements for a group of young people with disabilities who have left or will leave statutory care on turning 18 in 2004. It has been informed by reviewing the circumstances and/or leaving care plans of 27 young people. Sections two to six provide a summary of the review background, method, circumstances of the young people, key observations and findings and recommendations. Sections seven to nine provide more detailed information.
