This is a copy of our submission to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee on Australia’s youth justice incarceration system. The submission outlines the oversight role of the NSW Ombudsman in relation to youth justice detention in NSW, highlighting our functions most relevant to the Inquiry.
