Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) outlines our commitment to building an inclusive workplace and celebrating the rich, diverse and resilient cultures of our country.

Endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, our Reflect RAP provides a framework for strengthening cultural awareness, building respectful relationships, and taking practical steps toward reconciliation — both within our office and across the community.

Our vision

Through reconciliation, we aim to contribute to a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural interests are championed through strong connections, meaningful inclusion and mutual trust.

We are committed to fostering reconciliation and supporting the self-determination of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by ensuring their voices are heard, respected and acted upon.

Through collaboration and culturally informed practices, we strive to achieve better outcomes that reflect and honour the heritage, knowledge and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across New South Wales.

Our Reflect RAP focus areas

Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan is built around four key focus areas: Relationships, Respect, Opportunities, and Governance. Each guiding how we strengthen our commitment to reconciliation.

  • Strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders through ongoing engagement and collaboration.
  • Celebrate National Reconciliation Week each year to promote shared understating and participation.
  • Integrate reconciliation principles into our external partnerships, programs and communications.
  • Support positive race relations by promoting inclusivity and addressing discrimination.

  • Deliver regular cultural learning opportunities to increase knowledge and awareness across the organisation.
  • Acknowledge and observe cultural protocols at meetings and events.
  • Recognise and celebrate NAIDOC Week to honour the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

  • Strengthen recruitment, retention and career development pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
  • Work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suppliers and businesses to support social and economic outcomes.

  • Maintain an active RAP Working Group to oversee implementation and track progress.
  • Provide resources and support to embed RAP commitments across the organisation.
  • Report on achievements, challenges and learnings to foster transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Plan for the next stage of our reconciliation journey through the development of our next RAP.
