Ombudsman releases report: Did police provide their name and place of duty?

The Acting Ombudsman, Professor John McMillan, has completed his review of police compliance with a statutory requirement to provide their name and place of duty when exercising certain powers, such as search and arrest. The Attorney General tabled the Ombudsman’s report in Parliament last week. Read his media release.
