Welcome to the 2015-16 NSW Ombudsman Annual report
The Acting NSW Ombudsman, Professor John McMillan, tabled his Annual Report 2015–16 in the NSW Parliament on 27 October 2016.
Each year the Ombudsman’s annual report shows how the office makes a difference. We help individuals resolve problems with bureaucracy. We work with agencies to build stronger administrative safeguards for the community. And we pass on our experience and insights in law reform projects, training and other forums and discussions.
This site provides a snapshot of the report. We use case studies to showcase our work, and list some of the highlights in each of our areas of operation. On each page, we provide links so you can navigate to, or download, individual sections of the full annual report. You can also download the full report.
Professor McMillan’s foreword to the annual report summarises some of our achievements in 2015–16. Learn more.
